About

Dr. Jaime Mayoral was born in Dixon, California. He earned his undergraduate degree in Chemistry from the University of California at Davis. He then went on to receive his medical degree from the University of Minnesota Medical School in 1985 and completed his General Surgery Residency in 1993. Additionally, Dr. Mayoral completed fellowships in Surgical Infectious Disease in 1991, Laparoscopic Surgery in 1994 and Colon and Rectal Surgery in 1995. Dr. Mayoral is board certified, and a fellow, in both the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Colon and Rectal Surgery. Dr. Mayoral has been published in various medical journals, and takes great pleasure in the missionary work he is able to do in Mexico. As a former member of the United States Army Reserve, Dr. Mayoral achieved the rank of Colonel and served in Afghanistan, Bosnia, and Iraq. He is also fluent in Spanish which allows him to effectively communicate and treat Spanish speaking patients.
